By digital expiry-date controlling, ICA Maxi Boglundsängen in Örebro saved 33 tonnes of food from being thrown away in 2019. – Food waste is a big matter to us, but that’s really not the only thing. Sometimes small changes can make a big difference, such as replacing the plastic bags in the vegetable counter with compost bags in paper, says Joel Lundström, who is responsible for sustainability in the store.
