Climate-smart New Year’s promises

By 20 december, 2019No Comments

Soon we will enjoy Christmas and New Year’s. Before the holidays we would like to thank you for a fantastic 2019 and we look forward to a new year. We ended 2019 with a move to new premises, we are growing and now we have the opportunity to expand even further. With that feeling and with the same energy that constantly drives us forward, we will step into 2020.

We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and we want to give you some climate-smart tips on New Year’s promises for 2020.

#1 | The return of the lunch box!

Sure it is ok to enjoy the luxury of a restaurant visit sometimes, but next year we really see it as luxury. The food box will get its redemtion! Make contests at the office to get your colleagues on the train – This week’s most creative lunch box, the best leftover food of the week, today’s luxury box, etc…

The lunch box is a really good way to handle food waste and reduce waste, and it is also much nicer on the wallet.

#2 | Walk More!

We’ve heard it before, but we’ll say it again! Leave the car at home and ride collectively, or better yet – walk or bike. This promise is hard to keep, we know. Time is important and the car is undeniably a pretty smooth tool there. But, come on! We’ll try this promise again! Help each other get better. Push your colleagues into a more environmentally friendly alternative. Do you live close to each other maybe you can take a walk together to work? Let’s try, ok?

#3 | Best-before-smell = less waste!

We throw away way too much food. If the food smells and looks like it should – eat it!
